Sage's AKC points to date: 17 Points & 4 Majors.

Understanding the American Kennel Club (AKC) awards.

AM CH = American Champion.
WD = Winners Dog.
RWD = Reserve Winners Dog
BOW = Best of Winners.
BOS = Best Opposite Sex.
Best Puppy = Best Puppy in breed.
2 Points = His first 2 points towards his AKC CH title.
3 Point Major = His first Major.

AM CH = American Champion.
(15 Conformation Points to include at least 2 major wins.) 

Major = 3 points or greater, number of dogs varies from region to region.  In Division 8, which includes WA & CA,, it took 7 males or 10 females for a MAJOR through the first half of 2005.  It takes 6 males or 11 females the second half of 2005.
