Rathleague St Bernards, Alaskan Malamutes & Griffons
This kennel is owned by Caroline and James Maher. We live just out side Portlaoise, one of Irelands major towns in the Republic of Ireland. All our dogs are much loved pets as well as show dogs and they are exhibited at all major shows in Ireland, England, Scotland and Europe. Our two son's Evan and Aaron have joined us in the show ring with their own individual breeds, Evan with Shilo (Alaskan Malamute) and Aaron with Vito and Natasha (Griffon Bruxellois - Natasha, red rough and her litter brother Vito he's a Petit Brabancon, both from Russia). We are the only St Bernard kennel in Ireland who have bred and own St Bernards with Grand Champion titles. When ever a litter is planned at
our kennel, we only use the best of pedigrees and all our saints are BVA hip and
elbow scored and heart tested. Our stud dogs are available to approved bitches
only who have proof of original BVA results. We do not breed every year, only
when we want a pup or whole litter for our self's. Our St Bernard breeding lines
are from selected USA and Canadian pedigrees, our Alaskan Malamute's are
American and Uk lines, and our Griffon Bruxellois are from European pedigrees only. If you require info about our dogs
